Miki Nakamura

Miki NakamuraGraduate of the School of Art of Osaka in Japan, Miki Nakamura made her beginnings in paper in 1997 in Shikoku, in the workshops of Mr Fujimori whose father was proclaimed a National Living Treasure. She met Jean-Michel Letellier and assists him in his research.

She perfected her technique while working in China in the oldest paper workshops some of which were the genesis of this art. Since 2004 she lives and works with Jean-Michel Letellier and contributes largely to the development of their creative universe.

She is in particular the creator of the compositions Zen Gardens and Jelly Beans. Her culture of perfection allowed the technical development of their creation.

She also collaborates with other artists for the transposition of their compositions with the techniques of paper manufacture and supervises Summer workshops.
